BrighamRAD and MedShare Breast Imaging Teaching Cases

BrighamRAD is maintained by the Department of Radiology, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. All BrighamRAD teaching cases have undergone extensive review by attending physicians, department editors, and the department Chairman. MedShare is a consortium of institutions that have agreed to provide shared access to their online radiology teaching cases.

Simple Breast Cyst: 70-year-old female whose mother and two sisters were diagnosed with breast cancer in 50s and 40s respectively. Neither patient has any breast complaints such as pain or nipple discharge.

Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of the Breast: A 46-year-old woman with a family history of breast cancer presented for routine screening mammography.

Breast Hamartoma: 63 year old female for annual screening mammogram. History of fibrocystic disease.

Lipoma of the breast: 58 year old female presents for routine mammogram.

Gynecomastia and Systemic Mastocytosis

Gold deposits in axillary lymph nodes: Annual screening mammogram in a patient with normal breast examination and no family history of breast carcinoma.
