FAIRFAX, VA, March 26, 2007 - The American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) and Imaginis Corporation announced today a Web agreement that will provide radiation technologists, therapists, and oncologists with access to extensive information on women's cancers and health conditions.

ASTRO is providing a dynamic link from its patient education Web site,, to the Imaginis Web site,, expanding the outreach Imaginis has with the public interested in breast cancer and other women's health topics. The agreement demonstrates how the medical field is improving patient education with credible information that is easy to understand.

"Our research shows that consumers want as much information as possible, especially when faced with medical conditions like cancer," says Imaginis CEO John H. Molloy. "The mission of ASTRO's patient education Web site,, mirrors that of Imaginis - to help people living with a diagnosis of cancer, and their families, better understand their treatment options," Molloy says.

ASTRO and Imaginis are expanding their respective collaborative efforts to increase the availability of reliable Web-based health information. Recent studies show that the public considers the Internet as the most trustworthy media source. Research shows that more than 31.5 million consumers say the Internet is their first and primary learning resource for health information.
