The American Cancer Society ( provides information on breast cancer prevention and screening, diagnosis and treatment in Spanish.

Breast Cancer Care UK ( is a British national organization that offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer. Services include a national helpline, breast cancer information (booklets, fact sheets, website), volunteer services, aftercare services and regional services. The website provides information on a variety of topics, including finding a breast lump, benign breast problems, breast cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment, lymphedema, reconstruction, and more.

Breast Cancer and Other Conditions (Brustkrebs und andere Brusterkrankungen; provides in-depth information on all aspects of breast cancer (brustkrebs) in German. Users will find information on diagnosing and treating breast cancer, links to other websites with breast cancer information, a list of support groups, and a breast cancer chat room. The website also includes updated news articles on breast cancer research and information on the breast cancer hotline in Berlin, Germany.

Cancer Help UK ( is a free information service about cancer and cancer care for Britain's general public, provided by the Cancer Research Campaign. The website provides information on all types of cancer, as well as an up-to-date listing of cancer clinical trials in Britain and information on how to donate to the Cancer Research Campaign. The site was relaunched in November 2000 to include previously unavailable information on cancer and clinical trials in Britain.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Network (CBCN) has set up a resource center for breast cancer information and materials in languages other than English and French on the organization's Web site. The resource offers information on obtaining videos, pamphlets, guides, and handbooks in 33 languages, including Arabic, Tagalog, Finnish, and Oji-Cree, among others. The CBCN invites submissions, and asks that all materials specify the language in which the submission is published, the date, the author, and how others may obtain copies.

The National Cancer Institute ( provides information on the STAR (Study of Tamoxifen and Raloxifene) Trial in Spanish.

The NHMRC National Breast Cancer Centre ( was opened in June 1995 by the Australian Commonwealth Government in response to community concerns about the human costs of breast cancer. This site is designed to be a one-stop site for information about breast cancer in Australia. The NHMRC website provides information on breast cancer risk factors, early detection, treatment, statistics, resources and research as well as breast cancer advocacy and activities to promote awareness.

The Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research ( is a non-profit organization founded in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1964 and subsidized by the Swiss Confederation. Eighteen group leaders at the ISREC independently conceive and carry out scientific projects related to cancer. The results of this research are regularly published in international medical journals. The ISREC website is offers information on the latest cancer research and is available in three languages: English, French (francais), and German (Deutsch).
