Women's Online Health Resource Receives Web Award
Greenville, SC - Imaginis.com garnered its fifth WWW Health Award, fueling its track record as one of the most comprehensive online resources covering cancer topics and other women's health issues. The Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), a national clearinghouse for consumer health programs and materials, awarded the company a silver rating - the highest ranking for its category.
The Award is given to some of the world's best electronic health information Web sites and helps establish a "seal of approval" for health information on the World Wide Web, as more consumers rely on the Internet as a primary source for health information. Imaginis.com has received five WWW Health Awards since 2001.
"We are very pleased to have received the prestigious silver award," Imaginis Corporation CEO John H. Molloy said. "We continue to expand and update our women's health content, and look for ways to make our Web resource more informative and appealing. We operate with a simple goal: help people make more informed decisions about their personal health and medical treatment," Molloy said.
Imaginis.com is a comprehensive online resource covering cancer topics and other health issues that affect women. Imaginis serves a large number of female patients and their families, and is also used by many health care professionals and administrators.
